Wildlife management in Norway.
6 days course (from Monday 25. Mai – Sunday 31. Mai 2015)
The aim of the course has been to give the participants an understanding of how wildlife management works at different levels. The topics has been related to species as moose, reindeer, artic fox, big carnivores, musk ox, and grouse. The topics has been how these species are managed, which challenges are related to management, up to date research and how in general do Norway manage wildlife, their habitat and land use.
During the course there has been several excursions, meeting experts and seeing practical examples of research and wildlife management.
