23rd Thursday

Arrival day

Slovenians arrive Edinburgh ???

Romanians arrive Edinburgh ???


24th Friday

Walk around the village and to Cultybraggan.

Auchingarrich for lunch.

Presentation of Comrie Village and the Comrie Fortnight Festival (Felicity Martin Romania)

Di McNab (Slovenia) will host an evening at Dunira. Will take food and wine to share.


25th Saturday

10.00 am Braco Show This is an exhibition of farm machinery and animals.  Local farmers compete to win prizes for their sheep, horses and cattle.

Afternoon Lochearnhead Highland Games.  Traditional Scottish games with tossing the caber, piping and highland dancing competitions.

Village Beer Festival.  Localy made beers and a barbeque.


26th Sunday

Comrie Croft, mountain biking, hiking, camping etc.  Andrew Donaldson the owner will talk to the group about how this is run and his plans for the future.

Comrie fortnight Garden Trail.  Achance to look in your neighbours back garden.  Ending up with a cup of tea in the last garden on the list.

27th Monday

Carraglen hill farm.  Sheep farm. The owner will show you how his flock of blackface sheep are managed.

Walk and picnic.

Herb gathering en route and visit to Kinkahost healing well.

Pram Derby


28th Tuesday

Wild food walk gathering plants and fungi which we will cook for dinner

Visit to the opening of the Village Art Exhibiton.

Cooking dinner for ourselves and guests in Combruith


29th Wednesday

Fintalich Farm tour. This is a mixed farm with crops hay, cattle etc

Drummond Castle gardens

Open evening at Auchingarrich wildlife park

Dinner in Comrie Hotel


30th Thursday

Departure day
